The Carabao and the Deer

(Animal Fable)

A deer passes a carabao plowing in the field: I pity you, carabao; you are always working for others.  After the rice has grown, you're not allowed near it.  I go where I please.

A few days later, hunters carry the deer tied to pole, pass the place where carabao is still working.

Hello, friend dear, I find it better to be working than to be carried tied to a pole, more than a mere prisoner.
