  • Humarap sa isang fiscal crisis ang kanyang pamahalaan makaraan ang patuloy na pagtaas ng langis sa pandaigdigang pamilihan at patuloy na pagbagsak ng ekonomiya.
  • Sa ilalim ng kanyang panunungkulan naganap ang panghu-hostage sa truck driver na si Angelo dela Cruz at accountant na si Robert Tarongoy sa Iraq gayundin sa United Nations volunteer na si Angelito Nayan sa Afghanistan.
  • Hinarap din ng kanyang administrasyon ang malaking pinsala na dulot ng malalakas na bagyong Unding, Violeta, Winnie, Yoyong at Ondoy na nagdulot ng dagling pagbaha at malawakang pagkasira ng mga pananim at inprastruktura sa maraming siyudad at lalawigan.

  • Her government faced a fiscal crisis because of the continued increase in the price of oil in the world market and the worsening economy.
  • Under her reign, truck driver Angelo dela Cruz and accountant Robert Tarongoy were taken hostages in Iraq and also United Nations volunteer Angelito Nayan in Afghanistan.
  • Her administration was faced with damages to properties caused by strong typhoons Unding, Violeta, Winnie, Yoyong, and Ondoy which brought about flood and great havoc to crops and infrastructures in several cities and provinces.
